New Paint and Lights

Living room is in a light yellow color. "Jicama" from Benjamin Moore. Don't the columns look great?

Guest bedroom/t.v. room. Light fixture from Rejuvenation. Paint color is "Veranda Green" from Benjamin Moore. Turned out to be more of a blue color than green but we really like it.

My favorite light fixture in the house. Hanging above the top of the stairs, "The Euclid" from Rejuvenation. It gives off this great warm, golden glow when turned on. Love it!

Dining room is a kind of beige color. New light fixture from Rejuvenation. Color is called “Shelburne Buff” by Benjamin Moore. One of the best colors ever! Could have painted most rooms with it. The allusive colors are the best. Sometimes it looked more on the brown side and other times it looks like a darkened gold color.

School House lights from Rejuvenation.

Love the colors you picked. I found your site from googling the BM Jicama color, can you please tell me what color you used in the picture with the caption “Pendant light over what will be the breakfast nook with benches and a trestle table”. Is it Shelburne Buff?

Sabrina-thanks for the compliment on the colors. Shelburne Buff is in the dining room but the color where the pendant is with the benches is Caper Tree. Hope this helps!

    Hello..
I am remodeling my new home and came across your page. I wanted to put pillars just like you did. I have a question…where did you buy those pillars from? Do they have any website? Thanks so much.

Hi Daisy. The pillars were custom constructed by one of our contractor’s workers. So in other words they were hand made not pre-fabricated. Our contractor drew them out based on drawings of pillars that I had seen in magazines and then they constructed them by hand. I think they were pretty easy to make. I had them taper them so they are more narrow at the top and then gradually widen out to the bottom. Hope this helps!

I cannot find the Caper Tree color on the Benjamin Moore website. Do you happen to know the color number for this?

I love that shade of yellow. I have had a few trial and errors I am looking forward to trying Jicama. Can you tell me the finish you selected (i.e. flat, egg shell)?

      Natalie,

for the Jicama we did an egg shell finish. It is such a warm yet subtle yellow. I hope it works out for you!

Is that an adjustable-height pendant in the breakfast nook?
